You’ve brought this beautiful bundle of joy home and you are now totally responsible for it but things very rarely go according to your plan. As your Lactation Consultant, I will help you identify your successes and provide solutions to help you feel confident and reassured that you are a capable and confident mum and get your baby settled quickly. No matter what you are feeling or what your situation is, there is a solution. Remember, there's nothing new under the sun. What may be a new hurdle for you is something we will have come across many times. In saying that, your baby is unique and you may try various things before finding the right rythmn for you and your baby.
There doesn't have to be a problem to hire a lactation consultant. You may just want to be reassured that you are doing everything right for your baby and have some questions you'd like answered. We can check your baby's weight and progress and give you that reassurance.
Having a personal lactation consultant means someone is getting to know you and your baby more intimately and can walk with you through your birthing and breastfeeding journey. My goal is to empower you and to leave you with a content, settled and happy baby. We can also write up a personalised breastfeeding plan and will email you a review of what we have talked about as there can be a lot to take in with your new baby. You will receive a complimentary follow up call within 24 hours and I am always on standby to support you and your baby.

I have extensive experience in nursing, midwifery, lactation and postnatal support. In was my work in the postnatal wards that compelled me to want to continue my study in the area of lactation. I have many years of experience with newborns and breastfeeding having worked for over 25 years in the private and public sectors in Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales.
